Join us for SEEDS Business University- Introduction to Entrepreneurship Course Description: Welcome to Introduction to Entrepreneurship, a two-hour session designed to spark your entrepreneurial mindset and equip you with the foundational tools to turn ideas into thriving ventures. Whether you’re dreaming of starting a small business or launching a side hustle, this class will guide you through the key principles of entrepreneurship—from idea generation to business planning and execution. Session Overview: During this interactive session, participants will: Explore what it truly means to think and act like an entrepreneur. Identify personal strengths, passions, and opportunities within their community. Learn the basic components of a business model—value proposition, customer identification, and revenue streams. Understand how to evaluate business ideas for feasibility and sustainability. Discover local resources available through the SEEDS Business Resource Center to support business growth. Through real-world examples, attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the entrepreneurial process and a roadmap for taking the next step toward business ownership or innovation. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this class, participants will be able to: Define entrepreneurship and explain its role in community and economic development. Recognize the mindset and traits of successful entrepreneurs. Develop a simple business concept and outline its potential market. Identify next steps and available resources for starting or growing a business. Target Audience: Aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, career changers, and community members interested in innovation and local economic growth. You don't need any prior business experience.
