For two decades the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College has joined forces to host the EAGLE Award Reception. This acronym means Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education. Many finalists are vying for the accolades and honor of being selected as the EAGLE award winner. On Thursday, October 24th from 5:30pm -6:30pm the candidates, Wiregrass administration and instructors, family and friends will gather at this reception for the special name to be revealed.
