The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce and Lowndes County Government are partnering together to honor the dedicated, 'salt of the earth' farmers at the Farmers Appreciation Breakfast and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, December 5th from 7:30 am -9:30am at the Lowndes County Civic Center. The highlight of the event will be the announcement of the Small Farmer and Large Farmer of the Year! Additional sponsors include Georgia Grown, AgGeorgia Farm Credit, and AgriSupply Company.
