We are currently looking for an Assistant Cook to fill a vacant position in Valdosta, Georgia.

The basic functions of this position include assisting the Cook in designated food services tasks. Follows service plans as detailed in the Nutrition Manual, Health Services Manual, and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)/Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Administrative Manual.

Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Development Diploma (GED) or working towards General Education Development/High School Diploma. 

Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle. Head Start experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required.
