Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in Breast Ultrasound to join our practice. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images of breast tissue, assisting physicians in diagnosing and managing breast health conditions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to early detection efforts, patient care excellence, and improved health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound examinations
• Capture and document accurate diagnostic images for physician review
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, obstetricians/gynecologists (Ob/Gyn), and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare standards
• Educate patients on breast health, imaging procedures, and follow-up steps as needed
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to established protocols
• Adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and clinical guidelines

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS certification required
• Breast Ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
