Kona Ice is the best mobile shaved ice company in the country. A Kona Krew member will be responsible for giving great customer service. Krew members stock trucks, interact with event coordinators, serve Kona Ice, and return to our base. They keep our trucks clean inside and out because we hold to the highest standards. Please be sure this is within a convenient driving range from your home before you apply.

Essential Duties of the Position:(The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional tasks related to the work of the class as necessary.)

DUTIES

  • Delivering Ice cold Kona building relationships with customers and manage money transactions accurately
  • Building relationships with customers
  • Keeping the Kona truck clean
  • Keep Kona truck well stocked.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Driver's License
  • Must like to have fun, smile, and be comfortably Interacting with people.
  • Must be very flexible
  • Clean Background check and drug screen.
  • Good with money transactions.
  • Work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good attention to detail and cleanliness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Customer service: 1 year


Education, Experience, and Certification/License Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Food Production — Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and harvesting food products (both plant and animal) for consumption, including storage/handling techniques.
  • English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Transportation — Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.

Financial Authority:*

As a member of the Kona Ice community, this position is expected to be fiscally responsible in all financial transactions with customers. This position is also responsible to follow the policies governing the use of company-owned equipment.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour For Servers

         From $12.00 per hour For Drivers

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Trucking driver type:

  • Solo driver
  • Team driver

Trucks have been outfitted with a touchless dispensary for flavors, ensuring contactless delivery of Kona Ice.
