Farmers Home Furniture Named Leading Business of the Week
The Valdosta Chamber named Farmers Home Furniture, located at 3135 North Ashley Street, the Leading Business of the Week with support from program sponsor CCB Tech Group.
Founded by Sherwin Glass in 1949 as a hometown store in Soperton, Georgia, Farmers Home Furniture has become one of the fastest-growing furniture retailers, with over 230 locations throughout the Southeast. Today, Farmers Home Furniture is one of the top 100 furniture companies in the country and one of the largest privately-owned companies based in Georgia.
Farmers has provided our community with home essentials, including furniture and appliances, for over thirty-five years.
“I love working here because of the people I work with daily and the customers I get to serve. It’s a very warm and welcoming business, and I’m proud to be a part of it,” credit manager Kristi Miller said.
The business is proud to offer in-house financing options for up to twenty-four months to keep their customer’s payments low.
“The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber helps spotlight local businesses and continues to welcome new businesses into our community. They have shared what a great company Farmers is to their members by allowing us the honor to be named Leading Business of the Week,” manager Ricky Brady said.
