The Good Book and Red Door Coffee Celebrates Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening
The Good Book and Red Door Coffee, a non-profit bookstore supporting Sandy’s House, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting event on October 27, 2024. Located in Valdosta, GA, the store offers a variety of new and used books, as well as gifts such as jewelry, candles, and t-shirts. Customers can also enjoy freshly brewed coffee and tea in a cozy, welcoming environment.
All proceeds from The Good Book and Red Door Coffee support Sandy’s House, a 12-month, faith-based recovery home for women recovering from addiction. Established in 2021, Sandy’s House provides housing, support, and a structured curriculum to help women rebuild their lives, rediscover their self-worth, and become thriving, successful members of their community.
The bookstore features a special children’s section, encouraging readers of all ages to enjoy the space. The inviting atmosphere of the store provides a perfect spot for customers to relax, share a cup of coffee, and connect with others, all while supporting a local cause.
The Good Book and Red Door Coffee is more than just a bookstore—it serves as a vital resource for both the community and Sandy’s House, offering a way for individuals to make a meaningful impact by supporting women in recovery.
