The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce partners with the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) to host an awards banquet to honor all the STAR Students and STAR Teachers in the Region 10 school systems, which consists of thirteen different counties. During this banquet, the Regional STAR Student and STAR Teacher are announced. These winners will advance to the state finals to compete for the Georgia STAR Student and STAR Teacher titles.
