The Haven (Battered Women's Shelter, Inc.) has immediate openings for part-time as needed shelter advocates. Shifts run mid-8am, 8am-4pm, and 4pm-midnight on weekends and holidays. This is a part-time position with the primary responsibilities of providing a safe and supportive environment for all Haven clients as well as answering the 24/7 crisis hotline. Emphasis is on crisis intervention and assisting clients fleeing family violence and/or sexual assault.
