The Valdosta Chamber helped Buff City Soap, located at 1830 Norman Drive Suite A, celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting.

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap is a plant-based soap company that handmakes all its products in front of each guest. Products include bar soaps, foaming hand soap, laundry soap, bath bombs, body butter, and shave soap. Everything is free from harmful chemicals and added preservatives. Guests can customize their products with their favorite scents and participate in bath bomb parties.

“We love what we do because not only can Buff City Soap educate customers on plant-based soap, but we can give comfort knowing our products can help with various skin ailments. When customers give you testimonials on how certain products changed their life for the better, it feels good,” District Manager Andrew Chaffin said.

The franchise currently has 192 locations, with 160 of those locations having opened since 2020. In addition, they have opened two stores in Georgia and plan on opening 18 more locations all over South Georgia.

“We were fascinated with the town of Valdosta because of the culture. The people of Valdosta are great, and there is nothing like Buff City in town like it. So naturally, we felt it was a good fit,” Chaffin said.
