Gladwin Vaughn Architecture Named Leading Business of the Week

Gladwin Vaughn Architecture, located at 106 West Hill Avenue Unit B, was named the Leading Business of the Week by the Valdosta Chamber and program sponsor CCB Tech Group.

Gladwin Vaughn Architecture (GVA) is a full-service women-owned architectural firm led by partners Céline H. Gladwin and Erin Vaughn. The firm is located in the heart of Downtown Valdosta, Georgia, in the historic Roberts Building.

The GVA story started in 2004, when Céline, a young architect at the time and working for an architecture firm in Tallahassee, Florida, mentored Erin, then a local high school student. In 2006, Céline moved to Valdosta with her husband and opened a branch office for the Tallahassee firm. In 2009, Céline became a partner and established BFB Gladwin Architects in Georgia. Meanwhile, Erin completed her architectural degree but continued to work with Céline during her school breaks. After becoming a licensed architect, Erin joined the Valdosta office. In October 2018, Céline and Erin became partners, and their Georgia firm became Gladwin Vaughn Architecture.

“We take pride in all our projects. We strive to provide the highest quality of professional services by tailoring our expertise to each unique project. We understand different project typologies and have the knowledge and experience to deliver successful projects. The best examples of our success in accomplishing our mission are our high number of repeat clients. We are blessed by having both great projects and even better clients and are proud to receive several prestigious awards, especially for our historic rehabilitation work in Georgia and Florida. We are currently working on the restoration of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse, have several projects that are nearly complete, and some which are underway that we are very excited about seeing from conception through completion,” Registered Architect Céline H. Gladwin said.

Gladwin, a new 2022 Chamber Board of Director member herself, said the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber was among the first stops back in 2006 when they started their business in Valdosta. “It provided valuable resources and information, especially to a new business at the time. The Chamber continues to be a valuable resource for our business through networking opportunities, advocacy, business development initiatives, and generally bolstering all business interests.”
