The Valdosta Chamber and award sponsor First Commerce Credit Union named Hobart Electric, LLC, the Small Business of the Month.

Hobart Electric, located at 103 Lakes Boulevard Suite 206 in Lake Park, Georgia, started in 2016 with two employees. As the business celebrates its seventh anniversary this month, they are proud to now have a team of six.

The residential wiring and service company fixes common household wiring issues, and provides wiring to new construction projects, remodels, and older homes.

“We take pride in building lasting relationships with our customers. Many of whom are repeat customers that call and ask for our electricians by name. We are grateful for the referrals they provide to many of their friends and family. Giving excellent customer service is a top priority, and we take pride in going the extra mile to give our customers what they need,” Secretary Kimberly Browning said.

Hobart Electric makes it a priority to give back to our local community. They regularly donate to local schools, foundations, and the Make-A-Wish foundation.

“We hold Customer Appreciations Days for our customers and community, involving lots of food and prizes. Unfortunately, last year we could not do as much as we would have liked because of Covid, but we look forward to even more community engagement this year,” said Browning.
